Here is the general chronicle of how I got involved with various holistic modalities over the years...I was born the 10th generation in a large cattle ranching family; our ranch bred and raced horses (Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses), raised beef, hogs, and sheep since 1847. Being around many different animal species since I was a child, I have always felt a deep connection to the land and animals, but have also been drawn to the natural world, with a passion for herbs, plants and food as medicine. Later I was introduced to nutrition/herbs and chiropractic to heal my own body after an injury as a young ballet dancer in Europe. Landing a job in neutraceuticals with a company that was debuting homeopathic remedies I was exposed to homeopathic concepts and began to use them when my 3 yr old Doberman got cancer. This led to extensive study in classical homeopathy, nutrition and herbology for over 25 years. My studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine began as I witnessed the healing possibilities first hand with various health issues. I have been a chiropractic patient, acupuncture patient and massage client for over 35+ years and can attest to their benefits! I believe in a multi-modal approach to health with the use of traditional veterinary care supplemented with bodywork to include massage, acupressure, cold laser, thermal imaging, chiropractic and more....
I find combining multiple modalities helps assist the body to self-heal in a deeply profound way. From the ancient healing art of Acupressure to the modern technology of Cold Laser; these two together illustrate just one example of a powerhouse for healing! In addition, I have had great success with using food as medicine, paired with the other modalities for well-rounded balance.
Currently, I live on our working farm in Northern Vermont with my husband and a smorgasbord of animals past and present including: cows, sheep, horses, pigs, llamas, chickens, cats, and dogs.
I offer a number of services. Clients are welcome to choose à la carte style; one service or several combined. Please click here to read what people are saying....
